Trials and tribulations

This school year has been so long and frustrating for both My daughter and Us. Years of working with her on self esteem and self confidence undone in 4months by a Teacher who had no business teaching kids with special needs and I have to say No business teaching period.

The frustrating part is the school doesn't understand the effects this has had on Lyssa and the other kids in the class.

Welcome to my blog I am new to blogging and decided I wanted to start this blog to express my Family Joy , accomplishments and Struggles with life raising a child with Aspergers ( Autism spectrum disorder) and Bipolar. I also hope that I may advocate and raise awareness and hopefully gain support .

Let me start by introducing my family I have 3 children 15,14,12 and my Husband who I have married to for 18yrs .

My daughter who is 14 has Aspergers and Bipolar but also has OCD and sever Anxiety. She is brilliant however she had difficulty with alot of everyday things in and out of school. Her moods cycle and that plays a big part on how things go for her through out the day.

I am hoping my blogs will help someone as well as help me with suggestions and inputs as to how others cope or manage in there families.
